The Theatre and Media Drama (TMD) research group brings together researchers in a wide variety of film, music and performance-related areas from across the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries.

30% of our research was rated 'world-leading’ or 'internationally excellent’ in the 2008 RAE, and our submission was the largest of all the post-92 university in our subject area. According to Research Fortnight’s ‘Research Power’ league, we rank 16th (out of 40) in the UK.
